- Not everyone is lucky enough to marry their best friend but recent bride turned wife Leanne O’Toole was! The pair said ‘I do’ on June 8 in a civil ceremony, followed by a gorgeous reception at The Ashdown Park Hotel in Gorey, Wexford.
“I was in Dublin one weekend seven years ago when I was first introduced to him in a pub. My cousins were invited to a party and they begged me to go, so I said yes in the end.
“I was a friend of his’ party, so we got chatting and hit it off. That night he was cheeky enough to ask me for a kiss and I laughed, then walked off! We exchanged numbers and our friendship started in 2011. In 2012, we got together!
“Then in 2015 he asked me to marry him, which was the best day of my life! I was that lucky, he proposed twice, as my first ring broke. We got it fixed but he decided to still get me another ring.” Sounds like a keeper to us!
“It was the best day of my life! I got to marry my best friend but I also got to look and feel like a princess. I am really excited to start my new chapter in life with him.”
Best wishes to the newlyweds!
